Dr. "ELDER" RALPH HUSTON, Sr.

 

 

“THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN VOICE”

Dr. “Elder” Ralph Huston, Sr. (Herein called ELDER), was born February 15, 1936, in Conyers, Georgia.  Elder left Georgia, at an early age, to seek a career in the U.S. Navy.   He served his country proudly.   After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he moved to California.  There he met and later married Irene Wade.   This Union lasted 50 years.   It was also increased with six children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elder attended Ollie Grove Pentecostal Baptist Church, located in Berkeley, California.  He served faithfully, until he received the call to ministry.  He pastored Emergency Line Deliverence Center for several years.  While attending church, Elder also sang with THE  GOSPEL HUMMINGBIRDS.  In 2005, Elder received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity; for his outstanding years, that he served in ministry.  In 2006, Elder achieved his dream.  He recorded a CD, entitled I HEARD HIM SAY.
